Job Description and Qualification:

Areas of Responsibility & brief description

1.      

Prepare the annual Business Development Plan (proposed way forward) in alignment to regional/company’ plan

2.      

Ensure achievement of monthly / quarterly / annual new client acquisition targets and objectives defined for the country/region.

3.      

Analyse business needs to identify new opportunities over and above the present core businesses

4.      

Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income sources / contracts including VAS (Value Add Services)

5.      

Strategize with regards to alliances/partners to increase company’s  footprints across the country/region

6.      

Identify  alliances/partners keeping in mind the opportunities at hand

7.      

Identify various tenders/bid opportunities and put forth to the Regional COO as a business proposition through a business case

8.     

Possess thorough understanding of THE COMPANY Global's service offerings and capabilities

9.      

Understand the customer’ requirements and map the same to the existing offerings of the organization

 

10.  

Drive bid/tender documentation with other department’s stakeholders (each COO to decide on this)

 

11.   

Ensure submission of Business Proposal for all Regions along with submission of all monthly/quarterly/yearly reports to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

12.   

Establish and maintain contacts with various Missions within that region as well as at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

 

13.   

Liaise with and act as a SPOC for certain governments/missions as a Client Relationship Manager/Key Accounts Manager for few missions

 

14.   

Present THE COMPANY Global to potential clients (Diplomatic Missions) through direct communication via face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails etc.

 

15.   

Efficiently Manage the sales process: Lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team

 

16.   

Manage business delegates and showcase THE COMPANY Global  potential/strengths

 

17.   

Undertake responsibility for new business set ups and ensure effective roll out of new business initiatives & products.

 

18.  

Ensure compliance with the company’s information security policies and procedures applicable to the role

 

19.   

Ensure continuous and sustained business development effort which would help in enhancing the Company profile and Brand image

 

20.  

Ensure protection of business ideas, designs, technologies, processes & products innovated by THE COMPANY Global by means of Patents & Copyrights. Prepare copyright notes & send to attorney

 

21.   

Develop complete know how of the business universe e.g. Market Share/Potential and strategize how to approach and exploit market to achieve the business goal.

 

22.  

Market intelligence activities – continuously scout for new opportunities, competition information, new initiatives’ that can be proposed to the clients in an ever changing and competitive environment

 

23.  

Judicious use of natural resources

 

24.  

Shall adhere to the environment health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organization.

1.       Business Development Strategy

2.       Build and maintain business relations with Diplomatic missions (Existing and New)

3.       Submission of Business Proposal of all Regions to Ministry

4.       Identifying new business opportunity for growth of business.

5.       Monitor competition and identify effective ways to keep THE COMPANY Global’s service offerings unique in the competitive space

6.       Patent & Copyrighting

7.       Identify opportunities for growth of business for VISA outsourcing /Identity Management/ Value Aded Services  business
