Job Description and Qualification:

The Risk and Compliance Business Partner will completely support the growth of Partnership Distribution and achieve base and base plus strategies. This role is designed to make risk and compliance become agile, dynamic and business-oriented.  It aims to make activities, projects, communication, challenges and decisions (made/ or needed), seamless within PD and across the organization’s Risk and Compliance.


As part of a bigger Risk and Compliance team, the objectives are that risk and compliance practices are aligned with the organization and group, Governance, Risk Management and Compliance culture is embedded across the Partnership Distribution, shared service support of the company’s Risk and Compliance is enhanced, risk and compliance requirements of Partnership Distribution partners are adequately addressed


This position will report to the Chief Risk Officer and will take lead in the implementation and continuous strategic improvement of risk and compliance programs and framework, by utilizing the shared service of the Company’s Risk and Compliance team.


The ideal candidate must be a Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Law or Business with over 12 years of solid work experience in the financial industry handling risk and compliance and/or controls, preferably in the insurance industry.


Has In-depth understanding of the Insurance business preferred and, in lieu of insurance, financial services.


With excellent interpersonal and communication skills and self-motivated.


Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and local language.


Independent and be able to work under pressure.


Organized, analytical with good level of strategic and tactical knowledge


Possess strong leadership, coaching and influencing skills; business acumen; problem solving skills


Good understanding of process management, internal controls and risk management


High level of integrity and take ownership and accountability of results
