Job Summary:

  • Administer support to Salesforce Orgs
  • Design and create test cases and scripts to address business and technical use cases in Salesforce
  • Interact with development and support teams to develop test scripts within Scrum methodologies
  • Liaise with development team to test critical updates, seasonal upgrades and release features
  • Leverage existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and perform test validation
  • Proactively participate in troubleshooting, triaging of issues to identify root cause and resolution
  • Proactively makes suggestions for improvement with test excellence as a part of COE
  • Define, automate and execute DevOps test practices
  • Responsible for seamless functioning of technology and applications for the benefit of internal and external users
  • Resolves test issues and record transactions via ticketing system
  • Assists with resolution of issues surfaced by developers and support analysts
  • Demonstrates business acumen, ability to relate activities to Manulife business model
  • Good knowledge of object and data models


  • Bachelor’s degree from University or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Admin and QA; 2 years as DevOps QA
  • Experience in all phases of SDLC
  • Strong functional testing background; Understanding of quality assurance process and methodologies
  • Ability to define test strategy, test planning, test case design and execution
  • Experience with test management tools; SQL Proficiency
  • Ability to test Salesforce releases, critical upgrades and Copado releases
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proven ability to work independently, proactive decision making and strong problem-solving skills
