Job Description and Qualification:

Salesforce Development Lead

  • IT or business degree and a significant relevant industry experience
  • A good understanding of the Salesforce architecture, including custom APEX, VisualForce, Lightning Components and workflow development
  • Salesforce CRM experience (Highly Essential)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and related methodologies experience in Salesforce deployment methodologies including development of test classes
  • An expert on data integration with Salesforce with demonstrated capabilities using REST API, Java API and ESB integration
  • Experience in using version control, CI/CD and release management tools (e.g., GIT, DX, Bitbucket, Jenkins, AutoRabit, etc.)
  • Great communication skills with enthusiastic personality
  • A good understanding of the value of metrics and incremental delivery
  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard reporting functionality
  • Detail oriented and a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills analytical in nature with the ability to place customers first
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative solid time management and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to travel to Australia for different projects
  • Has previous team management skills and the ability to mentor/train and, if necessary, conduct performance reviews
  • Commercially minded and able to understand our business and how we are trying to move to a customer centric organization
  • Can multitask both projects and BAU priorities
  • Can continuously update Salesforce knowledge via certificates and trailhead


  • Work with the Platform Delivery Manager to plan delivery sprints
  • Work with the Platform Delivery Manager to ensure backlog is in good shape
  • Ensure sprint delivery targets are met and sprint velocity is achievable
  • Lead daily scrum meetings
  • Coach the development team in delivery methodology
  • Escalate potential delivery risks in a timely manner
  • Provide reporting of team delivery KPIs help build a high performance delivery culture
  • Provide solution design support to the Platform Delivery Manager
  • Coordinate and run sprint retrospectives
  • Be the primary point of contact for development team escalations, providing guidance on best practice coding and system architecture design
