Job Description and Qualification:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience as SEO Specialist
  • Experience with Google, Bing and Yahoo’s services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools
  • Experience with Google’s Keyword Tool
  • A functional understanding of HTML and CSS
  • The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
  • Proven success in link building and viral strategies
  • The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy
  • A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO
  • A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO
  • Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs
  • A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations
  • An up-to-date, working knowledge of current, past, and projected trends in the SEO industry
  • Familiarity with the best tools in the trade
  • Strong analytical skills and familiar with algorithms
  • We would like the candidate to have one of the following certifications (or an equivalent):
    • GAIQ (Google Analytics Individual Qualification) Certified »
    • Google Adwords Certified
    • MarketMotive SEO Master Certification
    • SEMPO: Advanced SEO Certification
  • Maximize the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo) to websites.
  • Accomplish using a combination of on-page and off-page techniques including but not limited to link building (in particular incoming links from relevant high traffic sites)
  • Work with our social media team to execute our social media strategies to optimize inbound traffic and sales, viral marketing, metadata sculpting, site speed optimization execution.
  • This position requires continual learning due to the daily changes in the search algorithms of Google, Bing and Yahoo.
  • Utilize webmaster tool Moz Pro at this time but we are open to using Semrush or Hubspot. 
  • Candidate must understand and be able to interpret metrics to ensure optimization.
