Job Summary
The Senior DICE Business Analyst (BA) is responsible in supporting Claims function, primarily, in enhancing operating capabilities through business analysis, data analytics, and development of process improvement projects and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Business Process Improvement
• Provide detailed analysis, go forward recommendations and full implementation of Claims business projects and other operations business initiatives
• Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements
• Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost
• Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes
• Ensure that solutions and implementation of the solutions meet the business specifications. Ensure business requirements are recorded and signed off by the business in detail and projects are delivered according to the requirements
• Perform analysis of business systems
• Develop business cases with process maps and re-engineer existing processes and workflow
• Provide business warranty support to all projects

Project Management
• Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion.
• Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost
• Provide Project Leadership and Facilitation utilizing Project Management Methodologies
• Utilize and coordinate resources within the functional and divisional organization. Assess project resource requirements between locations to support specific initiatives approved through the project prioritization process and change control
• Participate in the development of project charters, business cases, deliverables, business objectives and timelines

Project Coordination
• Actively participate on Working Groups and/or Control Groups
• Liaison between project teams, informing business units of changes to systems and processes as a result of project implementations

Data Analytics & BI Analytics
• Applies and integrates statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling and business analysis skills to manage and manipulate complex high volume data from a variety of sources for client organization
• Analyzes large quantities of data and develops reports on the overall performance of business segments; develops metrics to measure various characteristics of the client organization's business
• Models advanced methods of combining charts, maps, timelines and infographics into comprehensible dashboards; may create visualizations of complex relationships and big data sets in a user-friendly and easy-to-understand way to facilitate client organization's decision making

Application Development
• Provide software development services including but not limited to: VisualBasic; SharePoint, RPA, as needed
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications
• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented
• Provide business warranty support to all projects

Digital Graphic/Visual Design
• Develops and maintains graphic designs (e.g., art, color themes, photographs, web pages) and layout, as needed, adhering to guidelines set by the BrandHub

Database Development and Administration
• Analyzes, designs, creates and implements databases, including data models, logical and physical databases, data dictionaries and schemas, access methods, device allocations, validation checks, organization and security
• Monitors the relationships between the database users and application
• Collaborates with technology/infrastructure staff to identify data relationships and functional requirements

Other Tasks
• Provide coaching and training to junior Business Analysts and Operational staff
• Such other functions and duties assigned by the Operations Management


Minimum Requirement
• 2-3 years of business analysis experience supporting small to medium sized projects and business initiatives or equivalent BA experience
• Intermediate skills in VB development and/or other programming/development tool/s
• Must be a graduate of BS IT or any related course
• Candidate must meet job expectations and pass all performance metrics in his current unit
• Should not have any attendance issues or any disciplinary actions
• Must be amenable to work in Diliman, Quezon City.
• Must be amenable to work on a Night Shift.

Technical Skills
• Advanced Skill in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, Outlook, OneDrive)
• Familiar with a variety of software applications such as but not limited to SharePoint and Visio
• Business process modeling
• Proven ability using mathematical and statistical analysis methods
• Knowledge of Lean principles, process design and analysis is a plus
• Ability to utilize technology to analyze complex data is a plus
• Working knowledge of the operations’ business processes and business performance metrics
