Senior Manager, Total Rewards, Asia

Position Summary/Objectives of Incumbent:

Lead the Total Rewards (TR) team in developing, reviewing, enhancing and implementing TR-related strategies across the region. The incumbent will also act as a thought leader to HR and business leaders to provide advice on compensation and benefits solutions.

Major activities to be performed:

Leader & People Management

·   Lead, motivate and drive the Asia TR team to manage all aspects of our employee compensation and benefits program.

·    Build a learning-oriented team by sharing information, knowledge, expertise and best practices where necessary and relevant. 

TR Operations

·    Formulate, strengthen and implement TR policies and Processes for talent attraction and retention.

·    Collaborate with global and regional TR leaders.

·    Lead key TR projects from design development to implementation, including but not limited to incentives design, job grading, position evaluation, pay structure, title standardization, talent mobility, employee benefit program, retention program, performance review, etc, to enhance the standardization and harmonization of the company.

·    Lead the annual budgeting review and annual salary review to support smooth execution in the company.

·    Participate in local compensation and benefits survey and/or to initiate customized TR survey, to benchmark and analyse market data for internal and external equity.

·    Review employee benefits treatment by country and make proposals for enhancement, market competitiveness and cost effectiveness.

·   Actively participate, collaborate, or lead, in regional/ local projects when required, to support the implementation of relevant HR processes.

Specialist knowledge:

  • Degree-qualified with strong total rewards background of at least 10 years, covering Asia markets in MNC environments
  • Utilizing data from respective consultants to evaluate salary market data; and run comparison reports within an HRIS system.
  • (Strong proficiency with basic productivity tools and software, e.g. MSWord, Excel, including Pivot Tables, V-lookups, graphs, and formulas (including if-then statements) to carry out compensation analyses.)
  • Practical Experience:

·       10 years or above management experience in IT or related industries. 

·       Deep understanding of critical infrastructure industry and In-depth knowledge of competitive landscape
