Solutions Architect – Transformation

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of product architecture documentation and hands on development of product architecture documentation and hands on development of prototypes and proof of concepts, where appropriate
• Creates bare bones versions of product/service, and iterates & builds successive prototypes
• Handles their role of allowing the organization to fail forward
• Provides a representation of the idea (product or service) to the customer very quickly for feedback and further tuning
• Develops and maintains the end to end support and service model for assigned product/service
• Manages the technology team

Requirements

• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field
• Must have a minimum of four years in a professional senior technical role such as technical lead, team lead, architect, or other hands on leadership role ideally for a major consultancy or system integrator
• Must have experience in developing Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and has the ability to develop solution architecture designs
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent
• Working knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers, etc.
• Ideally formal qualification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g. TOGAF) or formal qualifications in technology.
• Strategic business acumen and understanding of organisation strategy and ability to design information systems to delivery that strategy 
• Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products particularly document management, collaboration and content management
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience of/with working with board level stakeholders
