Job Description and Qualification:

TITLE: TRAINING OFFICER

SUMMARY OF ROLE/ FUNCTION:

  • Create engaging learning activities and course content that enhances retention and transfer
  • Work under subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs
  • Define instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners
  • Apply instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Provide activities that enhance learning process
  • Set criteria to measure learner's performance and develop assessment instrument

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education – Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, Psychology and Human Resources

Experience –  4-5 years of work with strong exposure in Instructional Design and conducted Leadership Trainings for supervisory or managerial levels.

  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Organizational and interpersonal sensitivity

Mental Effort:

  • Problem solving – determining root causes/able to recommend decisions or courses of action based on clear and relevant parameters
  • Able to process HR performance issues using Organization Development Models
  • Able to distinguish between a training and a non-training related problem
  • Able to manage personal scheduling/ stress arising from multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Able to facilitate people into effective action; provide job coaching and counseling activities
