Job Description and Qualification:

·       Responsible for all activities of the company relating to Operations and Maintenance.

·       Design, define, and implement all processes, procedures, activities, relationships required to maintain the highest level of site availability across all tower sites in the Philippines portfolio.

·       Improve the availability of the company’s sites that have been implemented and at the same time take appropriate measures to reduce CAPEX and OPEX expenditure.

·       Form a strong bond with various stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and rollout teams to optimize the performance of the sites in the Philippines.

·       Take ownership of initiatives that lead to cost reduction, extension of life and/or site availability.

·       Form the bridge between the operational and managerial levels of local company.

·       Provide high level technical support for regional and core operations teams

·       Responsible to achieve divisional KPI/service level agreements by improving quality of maintenance activities and improve the infrastructure

o   Day to day operations of EdgePoint’s infrastructure.

o   Define preventive and corrective maintenance processes and procedures.

o   Implement periodic maintenance cycles.

o   Provide operational reports to customers and internal stakeholders.

o   Ensure highest site availability.

o   Define Disaster Recovery (DR) processes and procedures.

o   Set up the logistic support and infrastructure for operational activities, for both regular and emergency operations.

o   Ensure appropriate resourcing, both internally as well as with vendor pool, to maintain highest level of site availability.

o   Build and maintain relationship with vendors of maintenance services.

o   Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for incidents and implement continuous improvement cycle.

o   Act as escalation point/management interface in case of incidents.

o   Monitor daily TOC (Tower Operations Centre) and ensure alarms are appropriately classified, processed, and brought to closure.

o   Ensure appropriate Site access control.

o   Annual and quarterly budget planning and monitoring.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Power Engineering or related field and active certified electrical and/or civil engineer

·       10 or more years of experience in civil engineering and operations works.

·       5 or more years of experience in management level position in telco / MNC / Towerco would be preferred.
