Job Description and Qualification:

The VP, GBC Ops position is responsible for leading a team of professionals as well as working cross functionally within enabling functions and shared services to formulate a detailed project plan by work stream and subfunction, enabling execution of the plan consistent with traditional expectations of a Tranformation Management Office (TMO) role, and tracking progress to ultimaley deliver an on time GBC operation center consistent with the company’s 2020 GBC planning. 


This individual will be responsible for evaluating key organizational progress, surfacing gaps and developing strategic and tactical solutions needed to meet work stream delivery commitments, and pulling forward opportunities. The incumbent will work with key stakeholders (Operations Sr. Leaders, EY Resources, Project Phoenix Leaders,  IT, HR, GBC etc.) to assure appropriate alignment amongst multiple parties, plan requirments, processes, organizational structure, timing skills, and systems for effective delivery. 


This position ensures development and measurement of key metrics, and provides qualitative status reporting to identify success and risk to delivery, provide actionable solutions designed to meet GBC planning requiremnts..  This individual will play a key role in assuring that Operations will meet the GBC Project EBIT and margin growth targets.


Key responsibilities:


1. Develop and implement enterprise-wide data strategy that enables performance to be appropriately measured and managed in support of meeting the organization’s business objectives.

2. Leads multi-million dollar ROI strategic initiatives, including scoping, solution design, business case development, negotiation, funding, vendor assessment and selection, contracting, implementation and monitoring.  

3. Partner with internal and external product development and cross-functional teams to support new business initiatives that deliver long term value-added products for our customers

4. Manage P&L for critical projects and strategic initiatives, including reporting benefits and costs to Executive Team. Ensure project benefits and costs are achieved and reflected accurately in financial records, in collaboration with Finance and Operations.

5. Develop, measure and communicate key performance and financial indicators across the value chain, including metrics for suppliers, inputs, processes and process outputs

6. Own the strategic long term roadmap of critical technologies. Identify, design and build best-of-breed technology that automates work, increases quality and promotes patient satisfaction. Design and implement complex and scalable technology solutions that close performance gaps and create competitive advantages for clients and company.

7. Collaborate with client delivery/operations leaders to determine measurable performance metrics, and oversee the design of reports and presentation materials that effectively and accurately measure and communicate account performance. 

8. Identify key economic trends, business drivers and competitive forces that could impact the Company’s financial and/or operational performance.  Ensure routine assessment of all metrics measured support internal and external factors that could affect performance.
